What did Steinberg say?

 He said: "Adapt your parenting to fit your child", and I think is powerful to think that your child is unique in development, temperament, and transitions that makes him/her change, so, what comes to a parent after knowing this? 

It is to change with him! I personally think, as a parent, that's a big opportunity from the hand of our children, even they don't know, but this opportunity to change and grow for better with him is awesome! 😇

My son, Aloncito is the biggest inspiration to point out here what Steinberg said...

• Adapt your parenting to your child's temperament
• Your child is unique 
• Have patience during developmental transitions
• Your changing role as a parent

Every child has certain parents for a purpose, so the parents have a child for a purpose, it is crucial to help child develop correctly, by every stage, putting emphasis not only in the infancy, but until he/she become an adult. 

The temperament is also unique and you have two options, either giving up and defeating, or have patience and know it is a process that will be done, on your hands is to make it successfully!
